If your allergies haven’t already told you, it’s spring time! And spring time means baseball. I don’t really consider myself a “sports” person but when it’s such beautiful day out, eating dipping’ dots outside sounds right up my alley!
One thing that I would recommend (if you are a student) would be to go to a Wednesday game, because it’s $5 instead of $11, but $11 still isn’t too bad! I would also recommend utilizing the Twin Cities light rail to get to Target Field, because it drops you off right in front of one of the gates and the ticket office if you don’t already have tickets!
Lydia and I probably spent more time walking around the concessions area looking for the Dippin’ Dots stand, than watching the actual game. But it was all worth it when we finally found it and enjoyed the freeze dried little balls of joy. They truly are the ice cream of the future.
But for me, the best part about the game was the beautiful view of downtown Minneapolis, and getting to see the sky change from day to night with the sun glinting off the glass of the skyscrapers!
All in all I had a good time at a sporting event, and thats coming from one of the least sporty girls around. If you don’t go to watch the game, at least go to enjoy the food, weather, and good company!
