Last week me and a couple of my friends went to a very cute gift shop in North East Minneapolis called “i like you” which is a consignment store for artists in the area. They had everything from stickers and buttons, shot glasses, t-shirts and bath bombs. All of the items in the store would make great gifts, especially with mothers day coming up very soon!
But the main attraction to this place was the iconic mural outside of the store, the iconic “i like you”wall. This mural has become a staple picture taking location for tourists and locals alike, but its understandable because you really can’t go wrong with a white wall that has the words “i like you” colorfully spray painted on the wall!
My friends and I had quite the photo shoot before walking into the store, to make sure we all had at least one photo we could post on Instagram. And it was a beautiful day, (considering it was almost 60 degrees in February in Minnesota) so the 45 minute walk from our dorms was worth it.
I would highly recommend stopping in, if not for the wall, then for the cool items made by local artists!
